Yesterday was the first Saturday waking up in DC with nothing to do. The weather was mid-60's and sunny all weekend. I took a walk to Meridian Park near my house to read a book. It's on 16th Street and up on a hill (hence the neighborhood 'Columbia Heights'). It probably had a great view of the Washington Monument (barely seen poking above the apartment buildings) once.
