
An update: I guess I have not talked about the running program in a while. In late March I suffered a groin/hip injury that I've been dealing with ever since (it's more of a tennis-related injury than running). I went to a doctor and physical therapist to get me back on track, but knew I wouldn't be able to train for the full marathon in time. So, this weekend I'll be running the Buffalo half-marathon with some of my family members. I was nervous that even that was going to be a struggle, but on Saturday I had a nice (slow) 8-mile run that was relatively pain free. So that's given me a boost of confidence! I'm looking forward to finishing it, then taking time off to let things fully heal. But will I be able to pull away from my tennis career, especially now with the French Open just beginning?
