The rain and the crowds didn't dampen our plans for heading down to the Mall for fireworks! Some people camp out for the best spots and make a day of it. We walked down around 8 pm. The display lasted only twenty minutes (I wondered if they are able to speed it up during inclement weather) but they were huge!
